Homily for the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time (B)

God sometimes leads us into deserts, places of hunger and thirst. In these places of suffering He promises us one thing: He will provide for Today. Do we trust Him? Or do we tirelessly and wildly thrash around in order to provide for ourselves?
